Good Gentles,

From the garb and armor to the food eaten at feast most of what you see at an event was made by someone in the Society of Creative Anachronism. The degree of historical accuracy will vary from person to person and something you will have to decide for yourself. Whatever you decide, the research and creation of items falls into the purveyance of Arts and Sciences.

(Don’t worry you don’t have to make everything yourself. There are plenty of merchants who will sell you what you need. Also there is a strong barter system.)

Arts and Sciences encompass a broad range of activities. In addition to the obvious ones of sewing, armoring, and cooking, there are also performing arts, brewing, metalwork, astronomy, mathematics, bookbinding, paper making, architecture and numerous other activities.

So come and explore the many rabbit holes that are the Arts and Sciences.
